In this Monday Mailer (yes, that’s what a lot of readers seem to call this newsletter), you will get to know the 3 signs that a child (your child) could be a GENIUS! And how to handle erratophobia or errophobia (from Latin errat, erro, meaning "mistake") ie the fear of making mistakes. But first, what if the doctor advises the patient to play a video game. Can that happen? Can a video game be prescribed by the doctor to treat an ailment? Yes. That is what Digital Therapeutics is all about. Software creates the therapeutic effect. It is a stand alone therapy and not a supplement. A fitness tracker then is NOT digital therapeutics. FDA has approved of a game called EndeavorRX as a therapeutic to treat ADHD in 8-12 year olds. The definition of a drug is blurring. I absolutely recommend that you listen to the a16z podcast if you are a tech nerd. Listen to this podcast by a16z

Erratophobia is the fear of making mistakes. If you are afraid of making mistakes, don’t worry, you are in great company. Every CEO and world leader says that they have the same fear as you. I often find that I overestimate the impact of the mistake. That drives me crazy. In retrospect, I have made many mistakes and will certainly do so in future. Ask yourself if the lion chasing you is a house cat? <read this>

I made a cameo appearance in a Bollywood film called Apna Aasman (translation:My Sky). It was about a story about a couple (played by the late Irrfan Khan & Shobana) who have a special child. On a serious note, are there early signs that your child is a genius. What is it like to be the parent of one (hint: it is very hard). The gifted children often find it hard to mingle with their peer group. This article explains the curse of being a genius. <read here>

If you are an employee in an organization that is instantly recognized, your personal brand is shaped by the organization’s brand. You can ride the wave - it works to your advantage usually and occasionally you end up with some controversy. In the simplest way, a personal brand is about adding value to others until it becomes a habit. The idea is to build an emotional connect with your stakeholders. You can learn more here <click this>

B2B sales is now increasingly driven by SaaS productions (subscription-based) or Cloud-based (pay-per-use). Connecting, collaborating and shaping solutions is driving value. And this requires soft skills like listening, empathising and offering to integrate conflicting views. Women have excelled at many of these. The customer success teams at Salesforce and Oracle are headed by women. Could this mean the women will come into roles where men have had a monopoly? What would you say? Do leave a comment below.
